Belarusian army begins largest stage of combat readiness test

Today the Belarusian army has begun the second stage of the combat readiness test, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The second stage is designed to test the ability of reconnaissance, firing, radioelectronic warfare, and navigation subsystems to carry out combat training missions and assigned missions. The troops will move to deploy in designated areas where they are supposed to finish preparations for carrying out combat training tasks.
About 7,000 personnel, over 1,100 various units of equipment will be engaged during the combat readiness test. Military registration and enlistment offices have recalled 600 people from reserve, including 62 officers.
The army units will have to carry out recon missions, block and destroy militant groups, and fire for effect at maximum range. Some units will have to pass shooting tests and march across unknown terrain. Unmanned aerial vehicles will be flown. Data will be collected and processed as part of UAV systems for the sake of rec reconnaissance, navigation, and comprehensive fire solutions.
Engineering troops, radiological, chemical and biological defense troops will also be involved in the combat readiness test.
